6 CE - Infection Control & Management of Hazardous Materials (Self- Study)

Thank you for registering for a continuing education course with The Institute for Allied Professionals.

After your registration and payment have been completed, course access information will be sent to the email address provided during checkout.

Live Virtual Courses: Participants will receive the Zoom meeting link, course materials (if applicable), and course instructions prior to the scheduled course date.

Self-Study Courses: Please allow up to 24 hours after your registration and payment are confirmed to receive your course access link via email. Your self-study course access link will remain active for 90 days from the date it is issued. All course requirements, including the final assessment and course evaluation (if applicable), must be completed within the 90-day access period to be eligible for continuing education credit.

Please ensure your full legal name and email address are entered accurately during registration. The participant's name provided at registration will be used for continuing education records and printed on the Certificate of Completion.

Participants must complete all course requirements to receive continuing education credit. For live virtual courses, full attendance is required. For self-study courses, participants must successfully complete the final assessment and any additional course requirements in accordance with The Institute for Allied Professionals' continuing education policies before a Certificate of Completion will be issued.

Registration fees are refundable when a cancellation request is received at least 5 days before the scheduled course date.

Cancellations received less than 5 days before the course are non-refundable. Participants may request a one-time transfer to another eligible course, subject to availability.

No refunds will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, failure to complete course requirements, or failure to attend the full course.

For self-study courses, all sales are final once course materials or access instructions have been issued.

If The Institute for Allied Professionals cancels a course, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to another available course.

All refund and transfer requests must be submitted directly to The Institute for Allied Professionals.

ATTENDANCE & TIMELINESS POLICY

Participants are expected to arrive on time for all in-person courses and log into virtual Zoom courses on time. A 15-minute grace period will be allowed.

Participants arriving or logging in more than 15 minutes after the scheduled course start time may not be admitted and may be ineligible to receive continuing education credit or a Certificate of Completion.

Full course attendance and participation are required to receive CE credit. No refunds will be issued for late arrival, late Zoom login, early departure, or failure to complete course attendance requirements.

• Technology Responsibility Policy — IAP is not responsible for a participant's internet, device, audio, or Zoom connection issues.

• Self-Study Completion Policy — assessment requirements, 75% passing score, one retest if that is your policy, and completion before CE credit is issued.

• CE Records & Documentation Policy — participants are responsible for maintaining their certificates and CE documentation for licensing purposes.

DIGITAL DELIVERY, VIRTUAL COURSE ACCESS & PARTICIPATION POLICY

All continuing education course confirmations, Zoom links, course instructions, and applicable materials are delivered electronically to the email address provided during registration. No physical course materials will be shipped unless otherwise stated.

Participants are responsible for providing a valid and accurate email address at checkout. Course access information will be emailed prior to the scheduled course date. Participants should check their inbox, spam, and junk folders for course communications.

Virtual Course Requirements

Participants are responsible for having a reliable internet connection and a compatible computer, tablet, or device capable of accessing Zoom. Participants should test their internet connection, audio, and device before the scheduled course.

The Institute for Allied Professionals is not responsible for internet outages, poor connectivity, device malfunctions, audio issues, Zoom access problems, or other technical difficulties experienced by the participant.

Participants must log into the Zoom course using their full registered name so attendance can be properly verified.

Participants are expected to remain present and actively engaged throughout the course. Participants must be able to hear the presentation, view course materials, type and respond in the Zoom chat, and participate in questions, discussions, polls, or other interactive activities when requested.

A 15-minute grace period is permitted. Participants who log in more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, leave the course early, remain absent for an extended period, or fail to meet participation requirements may not be eligible to receive continuing education credit or a Certificate of Completion.

Attendance and participation may be verified through Zoom attendance records, participant names, chat participation, polls, verbal responses, and other participation methods used during the educational activity.

Course links are intended only for the registered participant and may not be shared, copied, forwarded, or distributed to another individual. Continuing education credit is issued only to the individual who registered, attended, participated, and successfully completed all applicable course requirements.

Participants are responsible for contacting The Institute for Allied Professionals as soon as possible if they have not received their course access information before the scheduled course.

Completion of all attendance and participation requirements is required before continuing education credit and a Certificate of Completion are issued.
